the door to a world of filming

possibilities.

Welcome to Screen Hunter Central Coast (SHCC), the one-stop film office for the Hunter and Central Coast regions of New South Wales.

Managed by experienced film industry professionals, SHCC helps Australian and international filmmakers, advertising agencies and photographers find the locations and facilities they require in one of the

country’s most spectacular regions.

Filming in the area has never been easier now that SHCC issue film permits for all 13 councils in the

Hunter and Central Coast, the 5 National Parks in the Hunter as well as the Worimi Land Council

(Stockton Sand Dunes) and Maitland Gaol.

SHCC’s extensive knowledge and network of local contacts enables them to offer assistance in the following areas:

* Location searches & surveys, both public & private.

* Sourcing of local crews, talent and facilities.

* Facilitation of accommodation, catering & transport.

* Liaison with Government departments.

Unrivaled for its remarkable locations .

From the spectacular dunes, beaches and waterways on the coast, to the picturesque vineyards and

ranges of the Hunter Valley and further inland to the sweeping plains and open-cut mines at Merriwa,

the region is home to a diverse collection of stunning locations. Add to that Maitland’s historic

architecture and gaol and you realise that the Hunter and Central coast really does have it all.
